I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Bologna in November 2015, with a thesis on the Greek comic poet Strato (“Stratone comico. Edizione e commento”). I started my MPhil/PhD at King’s College London in October 2016 (funding: AHRC London Arts and Humanities Partnership Research Studentship, full award). My research project concerns the indirect tradition of the Theognidea. Particularly, I am currently dealing with the earliest reception of the Theognidean text.
I am also collaborating with the “Kommentierung der Fragmente der griechischen Komödie” (“KomFrag”) research group, based at the Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg, where I spent two periods, during my Erasmus exchange semester (February-July 2015), and after my graduation (January-August 2016, between January-April 2016 funded with a DAAD Short-Term Grant).
My field of interests covers the Theognidea, Greek elegy and archaic lyric poetry, Gnomic literature and traditional wisdom, Greek fragmentary comedy, textual criticism, Greek palaeography and codicology.
